New update does not allow me to hear any game play!

Yeah man thanks, I appreciate it, my head set does work i was able to figure it out!

USB headsets are not supported on the xbox console (well there are 2 to my knowledge but they use a wireless dongle certified by microsoft.)

I hear what your saying so that's one thing why then does it not allow my son to play with his gamer tag when I am signed out. It won't allow access to the game accept me

Can someone explain to me what happens if you disconnect your Xbox One from all networks and put a new game in the console? Does it force you to check for an update, and not allow you to play said game until you update it? Or can you decline to update
it and play the game as it is? Does it even ask to update a game when you're not connected to Xbox Live/the internet? I am finding it a little hard to believe that the console won’t let you play a game because it’s not updated. None of my Xbox 360 games
have been updated and they all play, is this the same principle for Xbox One?

HI,

When you cancel a update before its fully completely updated and installed, the console will delete the game as some updates to the game are at the core basic level of said game. What this means is core game files are updated to reflect/add the new content.
If the new content while being installed gets corrupted to power disconnect or Power reset, or user stopping it, It will re-download the entire game.

I know you probably dont want to hear this but its always best to allow any game updates to finish 100% before trying to play the game.
