Discus and support New UI is trash in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Sometimes going forward requires a step back.     New UI is trash


    Sometimes going forward requires a step back. In this case Xbox needs a huge step back, this new UI that popped up out of nowhere needs to be changed back to the previous one. If there are gonna be random UI changes there should be an option in which you
    can switch between different UI platforms.

    The new update to the homescreen/UI for the Xbox One and One S are great and all but the "snap an app" feature no longer works.... please fix microsoft.

    Why you have done this to the new MS Edge? I have had the Update today and problems over problems.

    it hangs and crashes constantly!!!

    I tried other Browser from Appstore an it is the same..

    Is there maybe reserved too little RAM or CPU for APP running?

    In addition, the operation is much too complicated to use on xbox without a Mouse.

    I tried to add a USB Mouse but....nothing :-(

    The old edge was easy to use and no Problems with Browsergames

    SO WHAT CAN I DO or have to buy a PS??

    Not everybody is going to be happy with a UI overhaul.

    You cannot roll back to a previous OS version. I suggest getting used to the new design. Vote to bring the "Snap" feature back in the
    uservoice website.

    I voted on every relevant poll but, judging by the comments, it seems that Microsoft doesn't address the issues there until years later. It always made me scratch my head when people would trash on the old UI because I loved it. It was so interactive and
    alive. Now I'm stuck playing PS4; I refuse to get used to this trashy xbox UI.

    When posting on these forums, please ensure you follow the Xbox Forum Guidelines. Please see number 4 regarding profanity even with
    the use of * to blur out colourful language and number 9 regarding negative rants.

    I like this UI, it has grown on me and the ad tiles are often useful as they often show things of interest or serve as reminders.

    As for GamePass, you should consider signing up, it is great and the mor3 people that join, the better it is.

    You are describing the older Xbox One Dashboard. Microsoft is working on an updated UI that removes the individual tabs you mentioned which is being tested in the Dashboard Preview program. I don't know when that will be released to the general public.

    Have you tried using the menu button (three line icon) on items that you don't want and then select remove? Did you know you can create your own Groups of games in My games & apps and also pin the group(s) to your Dashboard? If you have a favorite friend
    that you'd like to pin to your Dashboard then there is an option for that too (select People - profile of GT you want added - Add to home).

    I don't recall if this is in old version or if it's only in the new Dashboard Alpha Preview I have but you can press Y to search your stuff and Microsoft Store directly on the Dashboard.

    Facebook is one of the most popular streaming platforms believe it or not.
    not as popular as twitch which the majority have moved back too.

    Facebook is trash and if they force that into the UI then thats another nail in the coffin for xbox.
