New system update doesn’t allow homescreen edits now

So the new system update changed the homescreen and added all kinds of new advertising I don’t want. It now only lets you have two of your own groups. Forcing you to constantly see their advertising. This should be illegal. I paid hundreds of dollars for the machine and games. Get that advertising off my screen. Can this new homescreen be edited or did Xbox screw over the loyal customers?

I've just logged on and found my dashboard bloated with garbage with no possible customization to remove these new sections.

Microsoft can suck a donkey tchoad for successfully winning awards at breaking their own already broken products, thus largely why I'm a Linux user on PC, and restrict Windows to a limited function until I finish my projects to purge Microsoft on that front.

The last dashboard wasn't the greatest, but I didn't have to look at clutter.

Hello, that doesn’t work. Tried it multiple times and same thing happens; it loads the homescreen of the game and then goes to the xbox homescreen and says to insert the disc

When I press play it doesn’t allow me to play the game it gives me an error try again later message. It gives me a code which is linked to an update so doesn’t help. I have had a new Xbox and have just done 2 updates for this game.

I got the same issue resolved by updating via CD.

You should also be able to update via USB, but you gotta format your usb-drive to the FAT32 system first!!!!!

After I inserted the disc with the update(while the error message was displayed), it automatically started to install the update. After that it downloaded another update and updated again. Once that was finished, I was at the homescreen and everything is
working fine now.
