    New store doesn't let you buy games for yourself, if you have trial version.


    Reported. Posting for visibility.

    I had previously downloaded and played the trial versions of Evil Within 2, and Watchdogs 2. Saw they were on sale and went to purchase, but the store says I already own them, and the only options were to install or buy as a gift. No mention of a trial version, or option to buy the full version for myself.

    To be certain, I installed both games, and both ran as trials. Trying to buy from within the games had the same results.

    stuck in trial mode

    Delete it and download it again. Make sure u are not downloading the trial version, I have noticed that a lot of the time it doesn't tell you wether or not it is the trial version unless u are viewing it in the store.

    You can always download the trial version and decide for yourself. That's so you don't download a game that you wish that you didn't.

    This is a trial version. If you've had a trial version before, you can't use that one. You have to buy a full subscription to make it work.
    Can you confirm that you already had a trial version before?

    No, everyone must own the game they want to play together. Only the A WAY OUT game works so you only have one person to buy the game and the other one just to download the Trial version from Xbox Store.
