New setup won't log in

I have held down the power button to shut it off and then restarted it several minutes later. I have actually done this several times. I cannot go to anything by pressing the Xbox button on the controller. I assume this feature doesn't work because I haven't
completed the set up yet. This is an adult account. Haven't created his yet.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We would like you to try a
power cycle of the console. When you sign in if your sons account is a child account try an adult account first, sometimes with verification and that child accounts have issues at start. Also if he has an account make sure you can sign in successfully on
the Account website.

This is worse then making a second account for when you have a temp ban. Which is not allowed. If you get console banned and your gt gets permently banned Xbox dosnt really want you on there severs. Making a new account dosnt really change the fact you
have been banned. If Xbox find out your back on the severs they will ban agian. Everyone agrees to the Code of Conduct when they sign up. If you break it well you have to pay the price.

Seems a few people here don't quite understand how this works.

If your account is permanently banned there is nothing wrong with starting a new account.If your console is banned then there is nothing wrong with getting a new console.

As i clearly explained earlier,if you have a temp suspension & create a new account to get around that suspension then you can get into trouble.

The op is not doing this.

What veggieMonster wants to do is perfectly fine & within the ToU/CoC.
