    New Series X Crashing Call Of Duty Only


    I just bought a Series X and all the games were crashing when I got into the main menus. After resetting the console, I'm only having crashes with COD BO Cold War and Modern Warfare. I've redownloaded them both and can't even get past the lobby menu for Modern Warfare (Warzone and Multiplayer) and the game crashes in Cold War after 40ish seconds (Multiplayer and Zombies). Every other game is working fine now and I've turned raytracing off, Xbox live party chat overlay off as well. please help!

    Crashing on new hardware isn't uncommon. One of the known issues right now with Call of Duty BLOPS is if you are playing the Xbox One version on your Series X|S it will crash within a couple minutes shutting down the whole system. Make sure you have the
    proper version installed by going to "My Games & Apps" and manage the title, it should be about 130GB in space. The 80ish GB one is the wrong version for the new console. Also note that the $60 version is only the Xbox One version. They got me on that... had

    I've sent my Series X to Microsoft and with the new one I've never had a problem, no crashes. I suggest everyone who is struggling with this issue to call Microsoft.
