New Series X console crashes and shuts down.

A less than a two weeks old Series X (store pickup date was Jan 18 2022 ) crashes and shuts down randomly but persistently. Happens while playing Battlefield 5 multiplayer. Do not play other games.

After most crashes the console would turn back on but a few times so far it kept on shutting down a few seconds after powering it on. The first time this happened, after half an hour of trying to turn it back on I gave up and a few hours later it finally was able to power on.

Tried all possible solutions suggested by Microsoft:

- Console is plugged into a wall socket and properly ventilated

- Restore to factory settings:

Soft reset

Hard Reset

- Offline system update with a flash drive

None helped.

Perhaps a faulty hardware...

Contacted Microsoft and they offered a repair service.

Frankly, sending it to Microsoft for service may be the best approach vs exchanging it at the store for another new console (still have a few days for exchange at Best Buy).

Well how about the frustration caused by a defective product and all this mess?

Would it help if I mentioned that Battlefield V works fine on Xbox One S? Not a single crash nor any other issues.

Of course I could try other games to see if the issue persists there but the reason I purchased the Series X is to play BF5 with faster load times, better graphics etc...

Just white usually a game will crash, light blinks series x games seem to struggle to play. And sometimes they'll freeze and shut the console down. No error messages though

I’m having the same problem with my Series X and Halo. Sometimes just the game crashes, sometimes the entire console shuts down. I have tried all of the above suggestions and it still happens.

I purchased the Series X specifically for Halo. Very frustrating.

My xbox series x is crashing when playing Anny game is started op it freezes after 2 minutes and shuts down can you tell when there will be a fix update for this best regards theis
