    So I got a new Xbox 360 slim and the family settings already had. A passcode from the game store and no one knows the pass code so o can't play any games I have help please

    pre-owned console family passcode problem

    hi can someone help me, ive bought a pre owned xbox360 and there is a family passcode blocking me how do i get rid of it as i have no idea who set it up thanks.

    New pre owned xbox360 family settings problem

    I m sorry this is happening to you. However since you mentioned it is a family passcode, the only way to reset that is by contacting Xbox Support.

    They are the only ones that can help you reset the family passcode and as far as I know they will need the serial Id from your console (which is at the back)

    did you purchase the console new or pre owned, if pre owned then the previous user left it set as the home console and has probably just got a new xbox or signed in elsewhere and set as home.

    I pre-ordered and had the original xbox with no problems then I had the xbox360 pre order original with no problems then then slim now and zero problems.
