    New Play and Charge Kit.


    I recently purchased a new play and charge kit from microsoft that said latest model. However, I noticed this one does not have a light on it to indicate when it is done charging. Is this how it is supposed to be?

    The play and charge kits are a joke.

    Mine is exactly like the OP says.

    I even bought a new play and charge kit with new battery and new controller thinking my previous kit was faulty and that's just the same.

    I now just use one of the fast chargers.

    Controller's battery doesn't charge anymore

    With usage the charge and play kit loses it's charge so if you have been using the kit for a while maybe its time for a new one.

    So, yes, that version is different from the last version which comes with the Micro-USB cable, that cable came with a led indicator, the USB-C cable does not come. :/

    Controller keeps disconnecting

    You'll probably need to purchase a new play and charge kit. However, I use the energizer charge kit. It comes with 2 batteries and stand for charging and it's lasted for me since the Xbox One came out.
