New MW3 disc not reading/launching on my xbox one (cross gen edition)

Basing on the statement you provided above, here are some troubleshooting steps that you may try:



1. Make sure the disc is clean and free of any scratches or smudges. You can clean it with a soft, lint-free cloth.



2. Try restarting your Xbox One console and then inserting the disc again.



3. Check for any updates for your Xbox One console and for the game itself. You can do this by going to "Settings" > "System" > "Updates & downloads" on your Xbox One.



4. If the above steps don't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

I had three discs from different stores..

My brother had the same issue.

The last disc (which wouldn't read on my One X or my original Xbox one) works perfectly fine on my Series X.

It's not a faulty disc.

It's older drives and cross gen games.

My One X played everything else perfectly.

It's an issue with these cross gen x/s discs..

Nothing you can say is going to convince me otherwise..

Yes.

I've tried all that.

There seems to be a problem with some xbox one X and these cross gen discs. If you believe what you read.
