    New monitor but not sure how to get sound..


    Just got a new monitor to use in my xbox one. AOC i2367f, beautiful picture but my problem is sound. The only connectors are dvid and vga. How do I hook up my headset/hook up speakers to get sound? Im lost as to what I need.

    monitor, how to get sound

    I'm assuming it's next to your computer and you have separate computer speakers? Then plug the red and white cables, might require a splitter, into your computer.

    What I do is use an audio receiver and hook it up with an optical digital audio wire. Obviously you need speakers to attach. I don't think there is any other way to do it.

    I use a monitor without speakers and got the Turtle Beach headset PX5 and now I have sound.

    The VGA cable has two red and white phono plugs. You can either plug them into an AV reciever or get adaptors so you can plug your PC speakers to it..

    I don't have the money to get it serviced. I'm just not sure how i was randomly playing the game and my monitor just turned off, no sound nothing. It just switched off and nothing works
