    Hello, so as you probably know Microsoft has a problem with giving people the free promo version of Minecraft to disc copy owners of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. Any news on when it will be available to download for free? I've been waiting for a while with
    the requirements met. And still no free 'Better Together' version. Really grimy if they're going to charge us another $19.99 for a game everyone has bought more than once already. Please help, I'd like to receive it before the deadline Jan 30th!

    Unfortunately, the deadline for migrating your Minecraft account to a Microsoft account with entitlement to Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has passed. The migration process was open until May 10, 2023, and accounts that were not migrated by then are no longer eligible for the free Java Edition entitlement.

    If you purchased Minecraft before the migration deadline, you will still be able to play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. However, you will no longer be able to claim a free copy of Minecraft: Java Edition.

    If you are still interested in playing Minecraft: Java Edition, you will need to purchase it separately from the Microsoft Store.

    Yes, I am also having the same problem. Have played over 5 hours on the MInecraft: Xbox One Edition that I have on disc. Been about 2-3 weeks and haven't gotten a new download, update, or a notification. I'm just worrying because the deadline is tomorrow,
    January 31st, and just want to know that I am eligible, but I do not mind getting the 'Better Together' version at a date after the deadline. Please update us when you can!
