New Microsoft account (PC & Xbox transfers ?)

Hello,

For security reasons, I created this new account.

I would like to use it as my main Microsoft account but there are some issues i need to deal with.

Is it possible to transfer my parameters and all my belongings from my previous account to my new one ?

For example my purchases from Xbox store and my saves ? (my skype contact-list ?)

Est-il possible de transférer les paramètres / achats de mon ancien compte vers le nouveau ?

Par exemple, mes achats de jeux Xbox one et mes sauvegardes ? (Mes contacts skype ?)

Your Xbox account is linked to your Microsoft account. If you want to chat with your friends, you will need to log-in to the PC with the same Microsoft account. Changing the email address will not work and Xbox details cannot be transferred to another Microsoft
account.

Can you not just sign in to the new PC with your existing Microsoft account?

Hi there,

I'm afraid it's not possible to transfer any purchases, subscriptions, saves, achievements etc from one Microsoft Account account to another MS account.

The only thing you can do is to change the primary email address used to sign in to that account, but I'm not sure if that is something that solves the issue for you.

If it wa purchased on your brothers account DLC does NOT TRANSFER between platforms

Are you sure everything will transfer? It says: "When you change to a new Microsoft account, the current funds in your original Microsoft account do not transfer to your new Microsoft account.". Is this referring to Microsoft Points or something else?

Yes, you can change your Xbox One account to a new Xbox Series X with a different email address. Here are the steps to do so:

Create a new Microsoft account: Go to account.microsoft.com and create a new Microsoft account with a different email address. This will be your new Xbox account.

Transfer content: On your Xbox One, go to Settings > System > Backup and restore. Select "Back up to the cloud" and follow the on-screen instructions to transfer your content to the new account.

Download transferred content: On your Xbox Series X, sign in with your new Microsoft account and download the transferred content from the "Ready to install" section of your Games & Apps.

Deactivate your Xbox One: Go to Settings > Accounts > Xbox One, select "My Account," and then select "Deactivate this Xbox." This will deactivate the Xbox One and prevent anyone from using it with your old account.
