New Login Screen "Who's playing today?"

When I go to play fortnite it goes to the login screen then it goes to another screen it goes back to the login screen

I have been playing successfully with my XBOX Live account linked to Fortnite. Today however, I was no longer able to login. I am stuck on the Epic Login screen after I typed in my Epic credentials. No controller keys work while I'm on that screen. I have to click the XBOX button and get to the main console screen.

I tried to delete the local saved game data and restart the console. but this did not help - the same login screen continues to show and it won't allow any button to work.

Please help.

I can't unfortunately, on the login screen just go back and sign in with the new account

Thanks I tried that and also unplugging everything, it just freezes on the ‘ who’s playing next’ page! I can’t get past this. It’s really frustrating as I have tried various solutions I don’t know what to try next!
