    New Laptop Banned from XBox Live?


    I bought an open box laptop from Best Buy and I get the message that my device or account has been banned or suspended from XBox Live. My account shows no suspensions or bans. Can I resolve this or am I stuck having to return the laptop and get another to use Xbox Live?

    I have the same issue although it's not a brand new laptop. I had it factory reset 2 days ago. Before that, I had no problems. Even now I can log in from other devices.

    ban him from xbox live.

    If your Xbox Live account has been permanently banned from Xbox Live the ban carries over to the Xbox One. You will need to create a new account should you wish to play on Xbox Live again.
