It requires Microsoft Account to sign into Xbox Companion app and play Windows Games. Therefore, You will need to sign with the same account that you used to purchase Solitaire membership; into your new laptop. It does not need any kind of transfer.

I'm migrating from old email to a new Outlook one. Both users are signed on this laptop. If I look at the installed apps on the outlook email, it doesn't show the same apps as the old email. There are 5 Microsoft games that don't appear on the new outlook apps list plus a G5 game and a couple of other apps.

Do I have to do another install even though they are physically on the same laptop?

Couple of things:

1. Accounts cannot be linked according to this article, but you can change the email address or phone number for your Microsoft account by reviewing the section "I want to add a new email address or phone number."

Somewhat reluctant to change the router settings, I decided to dig out my old laptop, installed the Xbox app and tetris app onto it. It worked. Good news as it shows it must be a config issue on the PC itself - the laptop was tested on the same network.

Any other suggestions on modifying settings on the PC itself to get the game working?
