New judder on interlaced video playback, BluRay XBox One

Hello.

Recently, I’m noticing motion judder when I play back Blu-Ray discs that have interlaced video on them. It’s happening about once a second whenever something is moving or the camera is panning, making me think it’s something to do with the 3:2 pull down. I do not see this when playing progressive video sources. And I didn’t use to see this with these same discs. It’s only in the last week or two that this has started happening, making me think it’s something that came with an update of the Xbox One or the Blu Ray application.

I’ve tried changing ever setting I can find in the Xbox and on my TV and can’t find anything that helps. Can anyone help me fix this?

What is the movie, or TV show, and are you located in Europe or North America?

Yes, I know all that. Nevertheless. I didn’t use to see this judder on these same discs until recently. That says to me that whatever it used to cope with all that was somehow broken in the most recent update to the app.

Thank you for letting me know. Have you tried a different HDMI Cable?

I would check to make sure your video settings are still the same, I would also make sure that supporting 50 Hz is unchecked in case the Blu-ray author was lazy and left the meta-data where they shouldn’t from the UK version

Yes, that's right. I haven't experienced this before the most recent update.
