    New Gamertag Not Reflected


    I originally purchased a second hand Xbox 360, which still had the previous owners gamer tag, and I have now purchased an Xbox one and have paid for a change of gamertag.

    My money has been paid, but the gamertag still remains the same. I followed the instructions on the website, but nothing. Is there something I need to do that isn’t mentioned on the website?

    Our Rewards system will track any gamertag changes made on your account, although your new Gamertag may take time to be properly reflected on your Rewards page.

    It should reflect the new Gamertag if you have changed it on the Xbox 360 console. This Gamertag should reflect on the website or on a newer console. You will need to pay the Gamertag change fee in order to do this.

    A gamertag change takes a few days to be reflected throughout the system, there may even be situations where it appears that you have two gamertags at the same time, the old and the new, you just have to wait for the change to be reflected correctly.

    The change of a gamertag can take approximately 3 days to be reflected in all platforms and games, and it can even appear double (the old gamertag and the new one) in the Xbox interfaces.
