New gamertag hasnt updated in over a month

So I changed my gamertag from insanegamer to brendora and the change only shows up on my profile but when im in game it shows up as my old gamertag, i changed like 2 months ago how can i fix this??

Is it the same for minecraft?? I recently logged off and back in and it remains the same as “insanegamer” and not my updated one “brendora”. I clicked change gamertag from my laptop and it opened the xbox app, there i noticed my profile had both names
displayed??

Hi Mortal,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have question on your gamertag. If the game you play has a seperate log in, like Elder scrolls, any Call Of Duty, Fortnite you will need to log in that game account and change the gamertag there also. Which
is basically changing name and doesn't cost anything.

Its been little over a month and it still hasnt been fixed

So i have used my free trial and changed my gamertag but on minecraft it hasnt changed

Give it 24hours that fixes most updates
