New Game Consoles Suck

Why does the new generation of gaming have to be soo inconvenient??? What happened to the days of just inserting your disc and instantly playing like the days of ps2, ps3, or xbox 360? I'm done buying your consoles because internet has to ruin everything. I will never buy an XBOX ONE X nor will I buy anything from Sony either. I swear both companies are the antichrist. Milking customers for money due to the fact they have to create NEW consoles every other year. "Oh, you got the XBOX ONE? Well, sorry, you have to update to a new console because they don't make games for that console anymore. Now go out and spend $600." Oh, and game discs shouldn't even be a thing anymore if you can't even play the games when they're already in the console. Update, update, update. But don't you worry, it will be faster if you just uninstall the game altogether, even though the physical copy is in your [mod removed] console. [Mod removed] you Sony and Microsoft. You guys really [mod removed] up. Your consoles are not worth my money anymore

people demand better graphics and bigger games at higher resolutions, this in turn makes the games huge.

having to run from the internal drives is due to dvd/blu-ray discs cannot spin fast enough and read enough to keep up.

xbox one came out in November 2013 it is now over 7 years old, i am not including the refreshes it came out with as they were basically still the xbox one family. 7 years is about right for a new console generation and as it is new you will find game developers will start reducing games made for the previous gen as it holds them back on what is possible.

Im going threw the same thing....Canadian console in New Zealand. Im able to download some games but not others......sucks.....

Hmm, I never really noticed anything like that. Always thought it was my console's fault. Will this explain repetitive freezing in games (i.e Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas)?

Yeah, ten minutes is a bit excessive... The disc will stop spinning, after piracy checks are done & when the console switches to a new command..

ie. As soon as you enter a game match, it will stop spinning the disc.. Because, you don't need the disc anymore, as the new command is only set for streaming data to & from the lobbies host, so you can play online etc..

My disc drive spins faster and louder for Street fighter 4. I'm about to trash that game.
