New game can’t play (0x80820003-%2

To be able to help you further, we need to gather some more information. The game that you were gifted is for what console, and also, what Xbox console do you have?

Alright, in this case, check if another game disc is indeed working correctly on your Xbox (you've mentioned that it is, but try again just to be sure). If it is, but your FIFA 22 disc isn't, follow these steps:

1. With the console on, press and hold the Xbox button on the console itself until it shuts off.

2. Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds.

3. Connect it to wall again.

4. Turn it on.

5. Try to install the game, and check if the issue has been resolved.

If the issue hasn't been resolved, it could be that your console has to be reset. Try to perform a factory reset while keeping games & apps installed. Make sure that you know the login credentials to all Xbox Live profiles currently signed in on your console, because they will be removed (including any games/subscription sharing with Home Xbox switches). Hi, this didn't work as it's still saying "check your disc" "your disc may be dirty or damaged. I've cleaned it and checked for damage but their seems to be none (0x80820003 - %2)
