    I'm noticing that some functions when putting on a usb headset will change all the settings to "headset" format in the settings. i would also like to put it as optical audio as one of my settings while in headset, why is that?

    GooD Tips: The headset USB kit can be connected to the TV,
    most new TVs support this function, but the microphone does not work :(

    So it's a half and half approach...

    It comes with a USB charging cable, not an adapter. The Bluetooth functionality is only for using with, say, mobile phones, not for the console at all, and no new BT functionality is given to the console by the wireless headset (which still uses the
    same communication with the console that the other wireless headsets do).

    Unfortunately this particular headset doesn't work with the xbox one. I believe this is a wireless only headset that comes with a USB wireless dongle. Xbox uses it own codec through USB so to use this function it would have to be a licensed product for
    xbox. I have a similar issue, mine fortunately could hook through optical an has the 3.5mm jack so I could still use chat. Using the 3.5mm jack on the controller most headsets will function through there. USB wise it will have to be a licensed headset only.

    There are many wired USB headsets that work with Xbox. Any headset with a 3.5mm jack works.

    Any control or communications device needs a security chip to function.

    Steel series Arctis 1 varified working.. Also all other usb headsets if you have the dts:x app.. Its 20$ but gives full usb audio functionality.
