New design controller disconnecting. other controller which is an earlier design do not.

I was interested in the idea of implementing smart phone functionality into the xbox 360's controller design; considering the average citizen spends hundreds of dollars on those rinky dinky gadgets over video games...though on the other hand the controller
would cost extra.

over any new controller concept i would be much more content with powerful parts inside of the console. i don't really want it to be in relation to the WII-U in which you're paying a majority of the price towards the controller design.

The design lab controllers do not use skins. The design is permanent on the unit.

Yep me too. In fact most of my weapons are designed for control. And here I was in the weeks earlier thinking that Gunsmith was gimmicky................pfffffft Gunsmith will topple any other games gun system, pure brilliance!

I understand that you're having disconnecting issues with you Design Labs controller.

It sounds like you've already tried some of the trouble shooting steps that I was going to suggest.

The fact that only your Design Labs controller is having issues and not your other controllers rules out the possibility

of it being a wireless interference problem. Here are a couple of links that should help:

If you continue to have issues with the DL controller I would suggest setting up a repair order if it's still under warranty.

It will take a little while because the fact that it is a custom Design Labs controller like you mentioned, so the sooner you send it off,

the better.

If you're running into an issue with range due to the wireless on the controller, then there is likely nothing you can do currently to fix that (other than the USB cable). You can try following
these steps to update the controller, which does fix some disconnection errors, but again probably will not resolve your range issues. Microsoft did listen to the customers about this, and designed a new controller with better range due to Bluetooth, but
the solutions would require purchasing an Xbox One S which isn't out till August.
