New Dashboard switching back to old dash during gameplay.

Im on the Beta Ring and had received the new Dashboard update a couple of weeks ago. But throughout the week I put on a game that I played for a couple of hours only to find the dashboard has completely switched back to the old dashboard during gameplay.
My console is on instant on and up to date with updates. Even in the Insider hub its stating that Beta ring testers should be on the new Dashboard and if not to make sure there console is on instant on and has the latest update, mine has all that. I was on
and using the new Dashboard for over a week, and all of a sudden it changed while i was gaming. Also my controller is up to date but when testing the new Consol streaming test in settings its telling me its needing a firmware update for streaming. But my controller
is up to date as well. Why has my Dashboard switched from the new Dashboard back to the old while I was playing a onlinw game ?

tried all that before i wrote this post. nothing on my end can fix it

I suggest you post this issue on the Reddit XBox Insider Forum where others and/or the Insider staff may point you in the right direction to solve it.

If you haven't already done so, use the Report a Problem feature also.

As soon as the new dashboard is through all testing it will be rolled out for everyone I liked it made the whole thing more streamlined

Its is up to date with no other update available. I did have the new Dashboard update like everyone on the beta ring, bur my systwm changed back during gameplay. There is no update available everything is up to date. Its on the wrong system build for the
beta ring.

This is strange. Run the firmware update again as there were two releases back to back and you may have missed one. Even if it reports up to date, run it again.

The uSB play/charge cable is my preferred method.

I had the exact same thing, and had to reset the console power supply to stop it flickering from new to old dashboard. After reset the old dashboard was restored.
