New Dashboard is flawed with no way to customise the groups you have saved.

This answer won't help if the console has the New Dashboard installed.

Customisation is limited to TWO (2) personal groups and multiple groups for Gamepass, Store and Movies

No matter how many times the question, how can I get my groups back is asked, the answer remains the same, you can't.

Well, not unless they relent and allow more customisation in further OS updates.

After nearly 12 months of Insider feedback, and no changes to the New ADVERT Dashboard, don't hold your breath.

Have you considered changing from Standard dashboard content to Family?

Go to live.xbox.com/.../Settings and scroll down to Content Controls. Select Family and then save at the bottom of the screen.

This can also be done on your console. Sign into the profile you want to change and across all the way across to Settings. Pick Privacy and then Change Settings. You can now choose one of three default Settings or Customise your own. If you pick customise,
you scroll down to Content and pick Filtering to change from Standard to Family.

Now back out to the selection screen and pick Save and Exit.

Either way will give you family friendly content on your dashboard.

Its a shame though, black looked so much better than grey... I wish their was a way to customise it. I remember on the old theme you could customise the colour of your blades in the dashboard.

Dashboard updates are something you have to accept if you want to connect to LIVE, and there is no way to customise what sections you see on the dash.

I remember spending ages sorting and categorising the screenshots on my Xbox profile then they removed the Captures tab! I still wish it was there and I know I'm not the only one.

With this latest forced updated - I meticulously had every game grouped and organised on my dashboard then I load up recently to find that all of my groups had been replaced by feeds pointing me to the Microsoft Store. Xbox owners no longer have individual dashboards but rather the Microsoft Store dashboard.

Without any option to customise it. By 'customise' I mean remove the ads and Store data because I simply don't need to see it. I've been playing since the Intellivision days and I've seen many updates etc through the years with this kind of stuff but no, I can't accept this. Especially without an option customise and remove unwanted feeds. It is the worst and most ad-heavy Xbox dashboard I have ever seen. As I have said before - it is honestly quite obnoxious.
