New controller... Loose wobbly thumbstick

I figured it out... For some reason the website says the controller is unregistered but when I use Xbox's virtual assistant it, it worked fine and read the controller IS in fact registered, must be a problem with the website. All is done and the order is sent awaiting approval, fingers crossed. Tired of the back to back cheap feeling controllers I receive. Thanks for your opinion/guidance on this.

Holy crisp I have this a lot too recently. After 2 I found a good one (bumper was a little crunchy but better than bad thumbsticks).

Just recently had to replace that one finally.

Got a new one and the right thumbstick feels quite loose. I can’t fine aim for **** on old settings. So I get to try and return it and deal with Best Buy’s HORRIBLE customer service and policies.

They often act like I am dumb when I tell them the issue.

Im guessing it’s Covid part shortages and stuff, but that’s NO excuse when it’s a $70 controller that’s barely changed over the years.

At least im not the only one experiencing this bs.

It says "If you haven’t registered this controller, you need to do so in order to submit a service request. Check your account devices – if you don't see this controller listed, select the "Don't see your device?" option." The controller is registered and has been registered for nearly 3 days now... Not sure where to go from here, I don't know if it makes any difference to request a replacement over requesting repairs.
