New (console) Xbox One owner Looking for Advice

This is my first X-box, I have always been a PC guy, but I wanted to get something different, (all my friends said get a PS4), So I saw they had Killer Instinct on here and I used to love the arcade game, so I decided on this instead of a Ps4.

I also bought Destiny, and I love it, except for the fact that I am not used to using a controller like this, always used a keyboard and mouse, so it is sort of hard to play until I get used to it.

I am wanting to buy one more game, and it is either going to be Call Of Duty which just came out, or wait and get Halo-Master Chief Collection.

I have never played any of the Halo Games, I played a lot of Call Of Duty Games, after playing story mode, I am wanting to play multiplayer mainly, so which would be best to get in the long run? which one would have the best online of the 2

If anyone wants to add me to their friends list go ahead, I don't have anyone on there, because I don't know any friends that have a X-box, they all got Ps4's.

The first thing you need to do is change that gamertag, before you get a forced change.

I would never recommend ever to buy call of duty.

 

I think the new Halo game has over 100 multiplayer maps straight out of the box.

 

"Advanced Warfare" is a really great game so you can't go wrong either way.

The "Master Chief Collection" does contain 4 full games and 100 maps from the get go though.

 

I'd recommend trying something other than a first person shooter.

If you are familiar with them on the PC then chances are you will find playing on the console a frustrating experience. This could very well have the effect of souring you on the system before you fully being.

Try Dead Rising 3, Ryse, a Forza game. Three games which to me would lend themselves better to a controller than a keyboard and mouse.

 

Computers turn First Person Shooters into a "Point and Click" adventure.

Don't be put off because it's different.

It won't take you long at all to get to grips with a controller.

Play the games you want to play but "Ryse" is an excellent recommendation.

 

Point and click they may be but getting frustrated is not good either.

Also why play the same type of game you've always been playing on a new system, why not try something new.

 

To be honest, I wouldn't make my first console purchase a multiplatform game. Not to take anything away from AW - I've been enjoying it so far - but I'd wait for the Master Chief Collection.
