    New console messed up setup?


    I previously had an Xbox One and a One S in my house. I recently (today) upgraded to a Series S console and moved the One into a different room. Previously my son who uses the One S could use game pass and gold on his own console with no issues, and I could use it on my One with no issues. After setting up the new Series S that has all changed. Now the only console anyone can use gold or game pass games on is my Series S. I am not sure what changed, I believe it to me something with the "setting home console" option in the personalization menu but I am not sure and cannot seem to fix it. Any ideas?

    Hi ElatedSacrifice, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If you have an active subscription and your son will use the Xbox One S, you may need to set the Xbox One S as Home Xbox. By doing this you will be able to share your subscription to all profiles that will sign-in on the Xbox One S.

    Please take note that you can only set your account as Home Xbox to one device at a time. You will be needing to choose what device they will use so you can play together or they can use the subscription.

    Once you have decided you can follow the steps below in setting your account as Home Xbox:

    1. Sign in to your account.

    2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    4. Tick "Make this as My Home Xbox"
