New Console Error Code 0x80070070

Just got a brand new 500GB xbox one console. Tried downloading a game from the Microsoft store and get the message not enough space to install the game, even though there is close to 400GB available and the game is less than 10GB. Error code 0x80070070.
Any suggestions?

Battlefield 4 Freezing Then Crashing On Loading Screen?

I'm also getting the error code (0x80070070) when trying to "move" or "copy" the game in the management settings

The system however is saying there's still like 78% space left

 

Error code whenever I try to move/copy a game to External HD (0x80070070)

So I filed up my XO internal drive with games. When I tried to install a new game it said "To install this game or app, uninstall something else, then try installing again. (0x80070070)"

Fine, I go out and buy an External HD, the 'seagate Game drive for xbox' official drive.

Plug it in, install the media player, and now to copy/move my games to it.

GET THE SAME ERROR "To install this game or app, uninstall something else, then try installing again. (0x80070070)"

It appears I cannot move/copy anything to my new external drive?? It does not matter how big or small the game is, it simply gives me that same error every time..so frustrating. It's basically a brick connected to the xbone right now.

Please help!

 

If its brand new its probably updating in the background , I would hard reset it (hold xbox logo for 8 seconds) when it powers down , unplug it for 5 minutes , then bring it back up ...at that point you could try again or just wait a little while before
you try it again...

You might want to try doing a factory reset. Most times when you're having issues with space on the hard drive, its possible someone might have had the console before you. It could even be corrupt files on the HDD. Factory resets tend to fix these issues,
or you could try clearing the persistent storage and local saved games if you decide not to do the factory reset too.

Here's your problem. This isn't a game console, it's a hard reset simulator.
