New computer? previous games

As long as you are logged into the Xbox App, Windows Store, and the game with the same Microsoft/Xbox account that you used on the previous computer everything should synchronize to the new computer.

Thank you. I tried all of this and nothing worked. I've now contacted Game Insight and they've helped me download the game directly to my computer and linked my previous progress to the new game.

I still cannot get access despite trying all of the above and Microsoft have been no help.

I ended up going through Game Insight support and I've downloaded the game directly to my computer and the support team reinstated my previous game to the new support code. Only thing is, I knew my previous support code so they could link the two but it's definitely worth a go.

When you had the game on your previous computer was it downloaded from the Microsoft Store or was it the Java edition from the Minecraft website?
