New beta update has made my console unusable

It's been over a year and five months since that update was pushed out that made the Beta disc unusable. Those codes are no longer being distributed to affected Beta members.



Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Bungie did an update that made the Dashboard Beta Disc unusable. You should have gotten an email with a code to redeem Halo Reach from Xbox marketplace. Check the email that you used to sign up for the beta.

Sorry but you will only be able to purchase things on a console with the beta on until the updated dash is made public.

As beta sign ups have been closed you will not be able to get the beta on your new console.

When doing the beta testing back then there originally provided a beta disc w/ Reach. When an update released it made the game unusable. Microsoft then sent out digital game download codes for those testers that received Reach from the beta. I haven't had
any problems using my digital version of the game. I still have the beta disc but not at a place where I can test it but I can only assume it still won't work.

You will only be able to buy anything using your account on a console with the beta on until the updated dash is made public.

As sign ups are finished you wont be able to get the beta for your new console i'm afraid.
