New audio test feature not working properly?

If Audio Passthrough doesn’t appear to be working, check the audio settings on your TV or audio device to make sure all necessary options are enabled, which will allow you to properly use the feature.

If the report feature is not working you should submit a report as soon as you reboot the console.

Testing new features comes with the hazard that your console will not work. It takes time and effort to bug hunt and test properly. Maybe if you aren't fully engaged in the program, you should step down the tiers or go to a public build.

I am unsure as to why you wouldn't want to report using Reddit as the development team use the subreddit and you get support from staff.

I did more testing and was able to figure out what happened. If you update your Windows 10 to the new Feature Update it changed my Creative Sound Blaster settings by putting my audio to 5.1 configuration so what I did was to put it back to 2.1 stereo and
now it's trimming with no audio delay.

Display Discovery is a like a Dummy protection feature for the xbox settings. It will read your TV's optimal settings but some things might not work properly having it enabled.

Turning it off (for me at least) reduced the input lag of my TV and audio and allows the HDMI 5.1 audio going to your TV to "pass-through' out of your TV's digital out connection.

Try going too settings and audio on the xbox too see if they are working properly.
