New app update

Figured it out, it's kinda out of the way, no more always connected consoles though and easy controller pop outs. But it's in the library tab under consoles. You'll have to reconnect everything as well and some other unnecessary funk. But I do like the new
interface. It's nice. ^^

Edit: the pop up tab is still there and only needs to be connected once. Also, now this is big fun, if you have your account linked to a friends console you can control their console. Even if its 30 miles away lol.

Hi Richard,

If your console is set up to get automatic updates, we'll update your console when one is available. If not, you'll be prompted to update.

If the update hasn't been prompted, we just have to manually prompt it to go through. To do so follow these steps:

Do a
Soft Factory Reset as personal experience I've had to go through this step myself and it worked.

This will reset your Xbox but
keeping your games and apps. The purpose of this is that when you're setting it up it's going to ask you
"We found previous settings do you want to apply settings or manual set up" you would want to choose

Side Note:
It is veryimportant
to make sure you have a secure network connection and know the primary email/password to the account before resetting the Xbox.

As of the moment, you cannot change your profile pic with the new Xbox app. You can however change your icon via a non-updated version of the mobile app, the Xbox itself (Saving image to the console or via USB), or

the PC app. Do keep in mind though that the image has to be 1080x1080 pixel in size in order for it to work (Unless you use a non-updated variant of the app).

It's not an updated app, its a new xbox one smart glass app, hope that helps
