New and improved Xbox controller has major problems.

they seem to have more than just that issue although I have completely given up using MS battery packs because they don't register or charge properly; among other problems I noticed that the battery life seems much worse than before and I suspect it may
have to do with the port at the bottom. For my last 4 controllers (default S, default X black controller, the ocean shadow, and now the grey one) all have an audible electrical arcing type of "buzz" coming from the bottom port and loud enough to hear at arms
length when TV volume is low and occasionally give me a static type shock.

Also the quality control seems off. While a friend of mine seems to have a problem with shoulder buttons, I'm 2:2 on bad "A" buttons from my last S system and my One X controllers. The button doesn't want to register consistently and other times is overly-sensitive
so a game of Gears is ruined with my running frequently interrupted into a walk or an entirely random dive, not getting into cover on command, etc

well multiple uninstall/reinstalls and hard resets got it to pop for me...though this is just a bandaid fix for a major OS problem ms has on their "new and improved" OS.

Microsoft has finally decided to offer a slew of TV providers as part of the Xbox Live experience; including BBC iPlayer, Channel 4, Channel 5 and LoveFilm. A new report from GigaOM suggests that Microsoft are "targeting" a November 25th launch for the update,
which will also include Kinect voice controls, voice recognition and improved gesture controls. The dashboard will also be redesigned in a new format that Microsoft has branded "Twist Control."

Great news I assume? How does this improve I have been reading that major improvements are on PC but for console it will be minor if any

i bought a new xbox one serveral weeks ago and the disconnecting issue is a major problem. in game it says please reconnect controller for 2 seconds and then you can go further. this is not a controller problem. microsoft need to fix this .
