Never Received Dark Souls 1 Code from Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition Xbox Store Purchase

Hello,

A support rep suggested I submit a post here regarding not receiving a redemption code for Dark Souls 1 when purchasing the Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition.

For some backstory, whilst the game was released on April 12, 2016 I made the purchase on April 26, 2016 (Order # [Mod Removed]) directly via my Console.

At the time on both the Console Store and the Store.Xbox.com link it indicated the following:

For a limited time, purchase DARK SOULS™ III on Xbox One and receive the original Dark Souls playable on Xbox 360, or Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. The code for Dark Souls will be delivered to your Xbox message center in 7-10 days. You can redeem
the code on your Xbox One console or at *store link*
As the message on the store specifically said to merely 'purchase' (nothing about Pre-order) i did so, then waited the 7-10 days.

I then contacted chat Support again on Tuesday May 3rd, 2016 to enquire as it had been 7 days. Provided all the relevant details (purchase date, order number and linked to the store, still showing the above details) who indicated it is would definitely be provided,
however the 7-10 days is 'business days' and i would have to give it a few more days as it had only been 4-5 business days.

Contacting again today and providing the same information, I was told that 'this was a pre-order bonus only' even though (at the time and up until at least May 3) the store only indicated a purchase was necessary, not pre-order. The store text has since changed,
however at the time of purchase I have a screenshot of chat history (timestamped) indicating the exact text (as above). I checked repeatedly to ensure it was valid and nothing indicating a 'pre order bonus' as opposed to simply 'for a limited time'

Now I'm also told I cannot refund the purchase as it was digital. I would never have made the purchase originally as it is cheaper to grab a physical copy (standalone) from the store than the digital edition, however the added 'bonus' DS1 content is what made
it worth the digital purchase.

Any ideas?

Dark souls code

Two questions:

One: is the dark souls 1 code promised with the purchase of the dark souls 3 deluxe edition coming before the release of dark souls 3?

Two: will the code be for an xbox one compatible version of dark souls 1?

Unless the answer to both questions is yes, i will be canceling my pre order and never ordering from the xbox live store again

 

No Dark Souls 1 Code after pre-order

I purchased Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition from the xbox store for my xbox one february 18, 2016 and

still have not received my code for Dark Souls 1 for xbox one.It has been 17 days......help???
