Never received code for 3 months free during E3 Sale

Hi, all,

This promotion:

Buy 3, Get 3 months offer on Xbox Live Gold and save 50% off of 6

months of Xbox Game Pass."

During the E3 sale, I purchased a 3 month's Xbox Live Gold card from the local grocery store, activated it (within the time of the promotion), and thought I was to receive a code from Microsoft for the free 3 months, but that never happened.

Contacted support thru chat/email, and was told I would need to take that up with the retailer??? The retailer had nothing to do with the promotion, correct? Anyone else have this problem?

Hello, I purchased 3 months of Xbox Live Gold during a promotion in January of this year and never received my code for the free 3 months. Please can you help?

Yep, bought from the Microsoft Store on June 15 and still have received the 3 month promo code as promised. Spoke to over 15 different Microsoft people and also tweeted with the Microsoft store about it. I am just getting the runaround and no one seems
to be able to help me as they pass me off to the next person. Now, sales & promotions are telling me it is a xbox problem. Still no remedy in sight. Good luck.
