Never Finishes syncing fallout shelter

Same thing happening to me. Uninstalled, reinstalled, removed local saved data, hard reset etc etc, nothing works. Quite annoying really as I've invested over 10 hours into this game already, and for what? Nothing

Same. You can stop the sync but the vaults are on the cloud. If I can't retreive cloud data, just lost several hours and $6(bought a 5pak of mr handys) depending on refund policy. I should prob start dispute process on cc.

Found it. I needed to delete LOCAL save. Manage Game -> Saved Data -> Delete From Console. Then uninstall game. Restart Xbox. Install game. Select Vault List in top right corner. It should appear. Hope this helps.

Im playing on the pc and do not have an xbox to connect this to. just an xbox play account. This doesn't help me because of that. Any other suggestions?

So I got it to work finally, here’s what I had to do:

1. Download Fallout Shelter onto my Windows Laptop

2. Start the game and save over the downloaded sync file

3. Shut down my laptop

4. Turn on my Xbox One

5. Delete my local save file for Fallout Shelter on my Xbox One

6. Restart my Xbox One

7. Launch Fallout Shelter on my Xbox One

8. After being prompted, select “Sync my latest data.”

9. Game works.
