Networking issues with att hotspot.

Nope. I cant find any info on the xboxlive site either.

 

Same issue its [Mod Removed – Profanity] and xbox just ignores us 6 days of this It’s absolutely ridiculous.

 

Exact same problem here (south-central IN), down to the 0x0000000000000000 error code... I've not been able to connect to any XBL multiplayer services since the evening of 9/26. We live out in the woods, and our only viable
internet option is AT&T cellular. We have a dedicated line in our household for data, connected to an AT&T hotspot device. NAT type has always been strict, and never caused any problems before. Additionally, I usually hotspot my gaming consoles to my iPhone
so as not to compete with anyone else in the house using data on the other line, watching Netflix, etc. - again, strict NAT type.
I have tested this issue against both of these lines.

I am able to log-in, make store purchases, and play local games. However, multiplayer services are failing for me on my XB1 (GTA5 online, RDR online, Steep, Minecraft world invites), XB360 (GTA5 online, RDR online, Minecraft world invites), and Windows
10 (Minecraft world invites).

So... pretty sure its not my hardware, per se.

I read in another post (Open Nat Type On Phone Hotspot) that AT&T may have made a change on 9/26 that is causing this problem - specifically with regard to hotspots.

I pay decent money to Microsoft for my XBL service. I pay a TON of money to AT&T every month to have "as-good-as-can-get service" in an area they deem too expensive to actually run lines (even though I'm not that far off the beaten path, and have
probably paid enough over the years for them to run fiber to my house directly)... Between the two of them, someone needs to get this sorted!

 

Its att if you force your device on 4g with no lte you can start a party , there is a double nat that started on 9-26 on the lte side for some reason. Hopefully enough people call and complain to have it fixed, thier answer so far is just we dont support
upnp

 

Interesting... I'll try shutting off LTE when I get home today, and see what happens.

Additionally, I read somewhere this morning that one might be able to get around this issue by switching to Google's Public DNS... Gonna try that too.

 

We also use an ATT Hotspot for our family internet. As of September 26th none of our live accounts will connect at all. We get the same error code as previous posts . My daughter's new laptop did an automatic update connected to the hotspot and asked
for her Microsoft log in. Now her computer will not do anything. We have a Roku and Amazon Fire stick. Both of these are working fine. My younger children's tablets work as well. It appears that any devices we have that need to be signed in to the Microsoft
accounts is not working. I have been unable to get any answers from Microsoft or ATT.

Recently there have been a lot of posts regarding AT&T issues for both home routers and hotspots. This leads us to believe it is a widespread issue. We are working together to find out what the issue is exactly.

For now, please try changing the xbox’s DNS server from automatic to manual, and then using
1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

Well when i got home from work today and everything worked fine for about a hour and now its back to the same. Sadly all i get when i change the DNS is (DNS is resolving xbox server names). Thanks for the suggestion tho.

 

Hey guys same here. Started 3 days ago.. I use an att hotspot sane as all f the above. Has worked with 2 different xboxes for years. All of a sudden my xbox1s has decided to not let me join parties or anything. I could send messages but when I tried to accept
invite or even send one hitting the a button did nothing....I reset xbox, removed all accounts, reloaded everything and still nothing. All of a sudden today I can at least send and receive invites but everytime I try to log into play PUBG I get to main screen
and it pops up a message stating "xbox services unavailable "... crazy thing is my original xbox 1 has worked the whole time and continues to work...

Any help would be great

Changing my DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 fixes the issue for me.

If it helps in tracking this down, my automatic Primary DNS was being set to: 127.20.10.1, and I'm pretty sure there was no Secondary DNS (0.0.0.0).

 

This resolved my issue as well, thank you. Using att hotspot also.

 

This works perfectly but now after a few days my party services are screwy for me, it says it cant detect a mic but i have one and it works, in game fortnite chat works but xbox party does not. I also cannot hear any xbox menu sounds....... All has to be
connected
