Networking connection error message “your security protocol will not work”

I understand that you needs help with your Xbox One console to be connected to a network connection for you to get back on gaming. Based on the error message you're receiving, it seems that your router is using a security protocol that is not supported by your Xbox One. Your console supports WPA/WPA2 (personal), WPA2 (personal), and WEP network security protocol. Here some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

1. Turn off your Xbox One and unplug it. Also, unplug your modem and router for about 5 minutes, then plug them back in. After all devices have restarted, try connecting your Xbox One to the internet again.
2. Make sure that the SSID (network name) and password you’re entering on your Xbox One match exactly with those of your Wi-Fi network.

Tried that but it comes up with the error message "Your security protocol will not work" as soon as I try to connect to the WiFi
