    Network utilization is slow and games crash


    Recently I installed a new cpu, my pc worked fine for about 3 days then randomly when I would load up cs2, the game would just be in this endless loop, it said network error, I checked task manager, it said 100kbs was my max, it wasn’t like that before, I tried downloading new drivers, I reset my ip and other stuff in cmd, I even bought a new Ethernet cable but the problem is still here, I don’t know what to do

    Did you try another network, like a mobile hotspot or a friend's network?

    Is there antivirus or firewall program running in the background? Or any other programs or downloads that may be using a significant portion of your network bandwidth?

    Have you adjusted the game’s settings to match your new hardware and network capabilities?

    Is your new CPU overclocked?

    Have you updated your BIOS since you installed a new CPU?
