Network timeouts

Timeouts can commonly occur from poor Wifi signal, unoptimized network settings for Xbox Live, ISP issues, or server issues.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO NETWORK TIMEOUTS!!! If you are getting excessive network timeouts, your router is not compatible with Madden (for reasons unknown or not admitted by EA). If you have a router/modem all in one from Comcast, YOU MUST REPLACE IT WITH
A MODEM ONLY. This is what's causing the issues. I have had ALOT of network timeouts in Madden 13, and have tried everything. THIS WORKS!!

FROM YOUR ISP. This is causing the issues. I have had ALOT losses due to network timeouts in Madden 13 (154 to be exact), and have tried everything. THIS WORKS!! I have played over 40 games without getting one network timeout since doing this. You are going
to have to purchase a router separately, but this solves your problem. I also directly connect my system (PS3 or Xbox) directly to the modem.

This is not the first year Excessive Network Timeouts have been an issue, yet EA has done nothing about it.

Ugh...I am having exact same issues on Madden 13. It only just started happening a few weeks ago. I have called my internet provider, and bypassed my router. It is still happening. Do you know of a fix?
