    Greetings everyone. I'm hoping someone out there can answer my question. I've been randomly getting signed out of Xbox Live lately. It'll happen maybe a few minutes after I start playing or let the system idle. My internet connection is fine, and
    when I check the network settings and run a test, everything comes up okay except for 'Service' under the Live Status. It comes up as a yellow exclamation mark and the message says 'service alert'. I've checked the site status and everything is fine, so I'm
    confused as to what to do from here on out.

    Sorry to hear about your issue. When power cycling my Xbox (as described above), I will usually unplug the router to my internet at the same time to reset the network. Plug everything back in and restart.

    Hello Starlight,

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Have you tried power cycling your console? Is a simple step that is often missed, but it solves many issues. Simply turn off your console by holding the power button down for 10 seconds (Or until your console
    turns off) and then unplug your Xbox for 5 minutes.

    If this doesn't work, are you able to test a different network? A mobile hotspot could work, but its not ideal. Id recommend a friends or family members network if possible.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
