Discus and support Network service failed Status Goldflake? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I’ve look online and what this means and tried everything that’s suggested to resolve the issue.     Network service failed Status Goldflake?


    I’ve look online and what this means and tried everything that’s suggested to resolve the issue. Even down to factory resetting my whole system. Please someone tell me why this is and if it’s something that can be fixed

    Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    Warzone is listed as one of the free to play games, however, after the last update the game no longer launches without an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. I don't know the reason for this as no official statement have been put out, but that's just how it's been.

    The only way to fix the Goldflake error is by having an active Live Gold subscription.

    ...and just now, this happened and it got stuck in a loop saying "Checking For Update" then "A required network service has failed. Status: GOLDFLAKE" then back again... over and over... you get the idea....

    Yet my XBox settings said there was no issue with any services or my network. I restarted the game and no issues, other than my OP.

    Activision needs to stop adding updates every five seconds, turning power on and off to a device is the dumbest advice.. fix your ****! I know yall dont care, cause you got your money out of us. But we like to play this game, and everytime I get kicked for
    "checking for update" which happened 10 times in the last 6 hours I was playing, is ****.. fix it! And the fact that no tech support is available when you need it (when everyone is home) just shows the care level. Fix the bugs, stop the hackers and care about
    the people who buy your product.

    So my actual question is.. what the hell do I have to do to fix the "checking for status" ****
