    I've just hooked up a starlink wifi router and am trying to connect my xbox one. I get a message telling me that my security protocol won't work. "this console supports wpa wpa2 and wep network secutiy protocols, but your router is using something else.
    you will need to change your router's configuration" I have no idea how to do this or if it's necessary. Any ideas?

    Impossible to use live with WPA2-AES?

    thats the security protocol for your wifi network - you would need to log in to your router and change it from wpa2-aes to another protocol

    Xbox One Networking for the Xbox Live server    . In reference to your router, visit this
    site to help assist you find the port forwarding guide specifically for your internet hardware. You will need to look at your router for the manufacturer and model number.

    The router configuration and how to manage it are usually based on the model your using, so I would suggest to look for more specific info online searching for your model.
