    Network Quality Problems with high speed internet?


    My xbox app has been streaming fine up until about a week ago. now no matter what game, or what streaming quality I use, my game gets distorted and I lose the connection to my xbox. it is very frustrating since I have 100mps internet! could it be my version?
    the support site states that the current version is 11.11.11004.00000 but my app is version 11.13.6008.00000

    Game update problem

    The network test was good. The multiplayer network test came back with " your download speed is too slow" at 30 Kbps it may be affecting network quality.

    slow internet speed

    It will mostly affect your online games, Because you need a high speed network not to disconnect from any game..You can play some games using this network speed.

    Hi Menudo, Are you also experiencing this behavior with Xbox App (Beta) version? You can DL the version located here: :
    www.microsoft.com/.../9NBLGGH1J27H. Its running the latest version of the App: 14.13.29009.0000 . Try reproducing the issue and If the issue continues click the happy face on the
    left NAV bar and click Report a problem. This will provide helpful data for the developers to investigate. If we have further questions we will contact you.

    Why is my latency so high whilst streaming to my PC on the Xbox App?

    Just a note.

    Your internet connection speeds provided by your ISP doesn't count when you're streaming to other devices on your own network. What counts is the quality of your own network.
    I'm at student accommodation, I imagine that the quality should be great.

    Would the Xbox app still tell me that I can stream in High quality if I couldn't?

    It's really going to depend on your network and connection speeds. There is nothing wrong with the game. Do you have high-speed internet service?

    Some weeks ago I did a hard reset on my Windows laptop and also on my router. I also got a new modem from my internet provider.

    The network quality problem is now gone and I can stream very smooth to my laptop, even when I am on wifi..

    The only time when the message appears is when I try to stream on "very high quality" Like I said, I have a gigabit card with all the right cables, how can I start streaming on very high quality without the "network quality problem" ?
