    "Network Quality Problems" message


    Every time I attempt to stream a game from my XBOX One to my Windows 10 PC, I get the indication that the the Xbox one is connected. Then, the screen gets slightly darker (I can still see the app in the background) and in the bottom left corner I get a message
    saying "Network Quality Problems." I have a wired connection running from my ****/Comcast XB3 gateway to my Xbox One. All network and connection tests on the Xbox are excellent. My xbox app and graphics card drivers are up to date. Until a couple of weeks
    ago, the app worked flawlessly. Please help.

    Frustration... "Network Quality Problems"

    I too have this problem, and have had this issue for a long time. Something that helped was buying a Broadcom network card for my laptop, replacing the intel one. Apparently, the intel cards have some kind of issue with roaming. My issues are better,
    but still, every 10 minutes, I get severe lag in my stream for 5 seconds, accompanied by the error "network quality problems". It goes away and everything is perfect. I'm determined that its some service that keeps regularly using the connection for something,
    but haven't been able to figure out what it is.

    Frustration... "Network Quality Problems"

    Just bought an ASUS RT-AC87U so I can play wireless on my gaming laptop. I only get low quality when I'm lucky and then it lags really bad. My laptop is 2 meters from the router and the X1 4 meters. This sucks

    One of the basic things to do is update the xbox app, make sure no one else is streaming music or Netflix during playtime, try another Ethernet cable and/or try it wireless. And or have the xbox wired in.

    Please reply back if these. Steps don't work.

  5. have the same issues since the latest insider update.

    Stream get's disconnected constantly as well.

    - I have a PING between my laptop and Xbox and that keeps going. No high pings (e.g. <2ms)

    - No other streams or network activity

    - Wired connections to both (Laptop & Xbox)

    - All windows updates and store updates are up-to-date

    - Tried the Xbox Beta App; same issue (beta app is lower version nowdays than regular app by the way)

    - Changed quality (very high to high to regular/medium)

    running out of troubleshooting options and blaming the insider update.

    is it possible to roll back the preview update on xbox?

    Same problem here. Before the last preview update streaming worked mostly flawless - now it's a mixture of crazy lag & "Network Quality Problems"... (and no, its NOT my network or that there is too much other activity...)

    App is up to date

    Graphics card driver is up to date

    I have ordered a new 50 foot ethernet cable (needed done anyway)

    Tried it (wirelessly) on my wife's laptop and it works.

    Ok hold on:

    OP and everyone that has replied, do you have the xbox one under the preview versions? If so you might need to get involved in the insider program on windows 10.

    To OP: Have you tried to make a new user on your PC and signing into just the xbox app only and make a local account(on the Pc.... Non MSA). That could solve the problem.

    Also, you physically have to sign into your xbox one before you start streaming, just if others don't know this.

    Also try connecting on the lowest quality and see if that works

    Another thing is make sure that your anti virus is not interfering with connecting to your Xbox One.

    the insider program for xbox is if you have a friend that is in it would send you and invite to the preview.

    if non of the solutions worked above you could reset your Xbox one and see if that works.
