Network keeps disconnecting while playing, hardware after updates applied problem problem

Step 8 of this Troubleshoot random disconnects mentions ISP or network hardware problems. If you run thru the steps in the troubleshooter
I'm sure you will narrow down where the problem lies.

Updating my ISP networking hardware solved all my issues about connecting and/or disconnecting from XBLive etc.

Before the September update, never had a problem disconnecting the controller! The controller LED blinks and it gets disconnected for 2 or 3 seconds and connect again! I believe it is not hardware but bug in update! Someone with the same problem after the
last update?

This error, 80072xxxx are generally associated with network or caching issues before, during or after a system update.

Check the steps in System update solution , specifically the section "Error message: There was a problem with the update"
4th option down.

First step to resolving issue is to ensure your network hardware is connected to your ISP (internet). A power restart of network hardware may be required while the console is powered off.

If the console is connected via wifi, try a wired ethernet cable connection to the network hardware. (Recommended)

Depending on what part of the update finished, Download, Verifying or Applying the console update should pick up where it got interrupted if it has a stable network connection.

The critical point of the update is the restart of the console in between the Verifying and Applying stages. The console Nexus button will flash on/off about 15-20 times, the screen will go blank and then the console will restart up and continue Applying
stage.

Patience is required while it restarts.

This issue may be related to hardware problems, which may be caused by some hardware effects of the joystick.It is recommended that you contact the after-sales service for inspection.

If the problem persists after disconnecting the controller, it's possible that the driver has affected and changed the game while the controller was connected, so it's possible that the problem persists after disconnecting.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, SINCE THE LAST UPDATE I CANT KEEP LOG IN ON LIVE BECAUSE IT DISCONNECTS RANDOMLY, AND THEN WHEN THIS HAPPEN I CANT SEE ANY OTHER WIFI AND IT SHOWS "HARDWARE PROBLEMS", IP PROBLEMS, DNS PROBLEMS, EVEN DCHP PROBLEMS, AND MY INTERNET
IS OK.
