Network failure when attempting to check platform restrictions

I receive the following message when trying to log into Fortnite.

"Network failure when attempting to check platform restrictions"

I have rebooted/unplugged the xbox, uninstalled/installed Fortnite and re-started router and the message still comes back. I received the same message for the last 2 days and after I updated the game. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

I think your internet might bet the problem try unplugging are re-plugging the router.

The issue is with the network connection itself, have you tried to check if there are any restrictions or outages on their end by attempting to reach out to them?

After the absolute failure of the first FF MMO, then i can see just why MS wouldnt want another failure of an MMO on their network again.

And considering that was the ONLY game MS had as a cross platform game, then technically they never "stopped" cross platform play, as they really never "started" it..They tried it, it failed hard.

unfortunately the problem is not in the platform, since the other players are accessing it without problems, or the restriction is for your region, or the problem is really in your network.
