Same issue here, my XSX setting for remoteplay.

After a few hours after the Xbox enters sleep mode, the network will be disconnected. My xbox is wired to an ISP modem, and the network is active but not connected to the network until I restart the device.

My network settings are 'any port open' and don't die ISP's Modem.

Had the same issue with the same cable box and I did a master power cycle.....router/cable box/xbox....basically the whole power strip......wait 5 mins......power everything up.....go to xbox settings and disable sleep mode......dont let the xbox one go
to sleep....this is the problem.....it sleeps and when it wakes.....it studders with the cable signal. might be due to cable box sleep mode after inactivity. both sleep modes causes this problem. so just disable that and you should be ok. haven't had
one issue after this.

If you think having the xbox is sleep mode when you disconnect is causing this problem [doubtful] simply hold down the power button until you hear the xbox fully power down before disconnecting the HDD

Did your machine go to sleep? As in did it enter sleep mode (screen goes off and usually the power LEDs on a laptop/machine indicate a crescent moon icon to signify sleep)
