Network cuts out in the middle of a game

When I go to play a game there is about a 50% chance I will lose connection right in the middle of my game. Weird thing is, is that I can see players moving and party members talking before it fully kicks me out of the game. Does not happen on any other device. Tried when no other device was on, and still happened.

Figured out that packet loss is USUALLY fine but every 15 mins or so, the packet loss percentage spikes to 75% for about 1 minute. I think it is my Xbox itself, because this hides not happen on any other device.

I've spotted your question and since it happened to me before, I'd like to share you some step that helped me when I had this problem. Have you heard about port forwarding? I asked because there could be one of the Xbox ports needed that's closed. Regardless how fast your connection is, if one of the required port is closed, issues like this can happen.

A network port by the way lets your Xbox console communicate with the Xbox Live servers and other Xbox consoles over the internet.

To let your Xbox console communicate with Xbox Live, your Internet service provider might need to open or forward ports, which means they'll be making a configuration change to your firewall or network hardware, such as a router. Port forwarding for Xbox is done on your router or other network hardware, not on the Xbox console itself.

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Once you contact your contact your Internet service provider, make sure to reboot the console and the router as well.

Have you checked your NAT Type? Kindly do a powercycle to both of your console and router.

Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

I'm having this issue with Peggle 2 and Dead Rising 3. it has happened twice in Dead Rising 3 but countless times in Peggle 2.

Who wants to re-install a 20-35GB download? If the problem is in the download shouldn't the OS have some way of checking it to verify its correct and downloading just the bad parts again? If you know its the game despite it happening in multiple games,
can't we just get a patch to fix the bugs?

If it were a few hundred MB I'd probably not whine about it but you're talking about a serious investment in time to re-download a game when you can't promise it will fix the issue.
